A leading chocolate brand wanted to supply consumers directly with some gift packs and products not sold through retail. The brand started running the store using inhouse team but soon the volume of orders and customer queries and returns built up and threatened to disrupt the store’s operation. As an existing customer of our data reporting services the brand enquired how our team could support running the store and fulfilling the orders.
Parade Solution
To help the brand team we took over managing the shopify store and administered the back end to display products, stock and brand information. Our customer care team handled orders and payments, resolving customer queries and managing complaints and returns.
Our inhouse fulfilment centre stored the various products, managed stock replenishment and supplied packaging. Using a network of carrier and our special account rates parcels would be sent out daily using same day or next day service with tracking.
Outcome and Ongoing
The hassle free approach with attractive rates for fulfilment and excellent customer care support all managed without tying up brand resource made this a sustainable revenue stream for the brand. Excellent customer care meant repeat orders and brand loyalty which were the icing on the cake.
